Jim Roberson was born in Yonkers, New York. Jim excelled at all sports as a young man, including baseball and basketball but it was his passion for American football that helped him secure a scholarship at the University of Rhode Island and emerge 5 years later with a BA degree in Economics.

Jim was invited to the UK as an American football coach in April 1989, and has literally, never looked back! Whilst developing American football in the UK Jim was able to realise his other passion, that of teaching.

This is where we find Jim today, very much a practitioner. Jim is able to apply the "Discipline Approach" of which he advocates and is also acutely aware of the pressures on the teacher in the classroom today.
